In a move aimed at enhancing its capabilities in the sales automation space, ServiceNow has announced plans to acquire Logik.ai, a specialist in AI-powered Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) solutions.
It's all about AI: The acquisition is part of ServiceNow's strategy of continuing to embed AI into its platform and bolstering its CRM offering to enterprise customers, particularly in industries where complex product configurations and quoting processes often hinder sales performance.
Automated quoting: By automating detailed product configurations and pricing models, Logik.ai enables sales teams to generate accurate quotes swiftly, reducing manual errors and accelerating deal closure times. The technology is especially beneficial in sectors like manufacturing, high-tech, and medical devices, where product complexities often hinder the efficiency of the sales process.
Enhanced CRM: "ServiceNow is advancing our commitment to offer robust, deeply connected CRM tools," says John Ball, Executive Vice President and General Manager of CRM & Industry Workflows at ServiceNow. "The CPQ space is evolving, and Logik.ai is leading the way to a simpler, AI-powered selling experience across channels. By adding Logik.ai’s industry-leading sales and commerce solution to our CRM offering, ServiceNow will further enhance our capability to sell, fulfill, and service on a single platform."
Simplifying complex sales: Christopher Shutts, CEO and co-founder of Logik.ai, says solutions that weigh down sales productivity are a frustration for businesses. "We invested early in innovations like AI and consumer-grade experiences that are rewriting how products of any complexity are sold. ServiceNow CRM is built for the era of AI, making it the perfect partner to continue that momentum."
