A Solution is a collection of tables configured to manage a workflow, process or project, such as your sales process or a client project. Every plan includes unlimited Solutions. You can start from a template or build your own from scratch with the Solution Builder and SmartSuite's fields and views.

SmartSuite keeps a history of every change made to a record or administrative setting. Members with the right permissions can see when each change happened, who made it and what changed. History is kept for 1 year on Team, 2 years on Professional and 3 years on Enterprise.

Solution Templates are expert-built starting points for common business processes. Pick one, and the tables, fields and views are set up for you, ready to customize. SmartSuite offers more than 200 workflow templates across industries and functions, available on every plan.

A Field holds one type of data in a record. SmartSuite includes more than 40 field types, including text, number, percent, currency, date, time, single and multiple select, email, phone, address, link, user, rating, status and formula fields, plus links to other records.

Every deleted record goes to the Recycle Bin, so an accidentally deleted customer record, transaction or project plan can be restored with one click. Deleted records are kept for 30 days on Team, 45 days on Professional and 60 days on Enterprise.

Team includes 5,000 records per Solution, 50GB of attachment storage per Solution and 25,000 automation runs and API calls per month. Professional includes 100,000 records, 100GB and 100,000 runs and calls. Enterprise includes 400,000 records, 500GB and 500,000 runs and calls. Solutions are unlimited on every plan.

SmartSuite is priced per seat. Team is $15 per seat per month billed annually ($20 billed monthly) with a minimum of 3 billable users. Professional is $32 per seat per month billed annually ($36 monthly) with a minimum of 5. Enterprise is custom priced. You pay for users with edit permissions; read-only users, commenters and people submitting forms are free, and charges are prorated.

Yes. You are never locked in and can change your plan at any time, including adding or removing users. Go to Plans and Billing in Account Administration to update your subscription in a few clicks.

If you reach the record or attachment limit for your plan, your Solutions keep working and your data stays where it is. We notify you of the overage, and you cannot add more records or attachments until you upgrade. Automation runs and API calls are capped at your plan's monthly limit.

It is only how often you pay. With monthly billing you are charged on the same day each month at the monthly rate. With annual billing you are charged once for the whole year, on the day you started the subscription, at the lower annual rate shown on each plan.

Every plan can be paid with any major credit card. Enterprise plans that meet a minimum fee can also be billed annually by invoice, with payment by ACH, wire transfer or company check.

Team starts at 3 billable users and Professional at 5. Enterprise has no minimum. Read-only users, commenters and form submitters are not billed. A SmartSuite account can support between 1 and 10,000 users.

Nothing is charged automatically. To keep using SmartSuite, select a plan, choose the number of users and add a credit card. If you do not, the account is disabled, but everything is kept as you left it. Log back in at any time to sign up for a paid plan and carry on.

No. You can select a plan and enter billing details at any time during the trial.

Yes. You can invite up to 50 people to join your SmartSuite trial. Click Invite Members on your home page and enter the email addresses of the people you want to invite.

HIPAA compliance and GDPR compliance are included on the Enterprise plan, alongside European data residency. SmartSuite signs a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement (BAA) on the Enterprise plan only. Contact sales to discuss your requirements.

Enterprise adds audit logs, IP address restrictions, data loss prevention (DLP) and European data residency, plus SSO, SCIM provisioning, a customer success manager and payment by invoice. Every plan includes user and team management, session management, SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001.

Account, Solution, record and public read-only view permissions are on every plan. Professional adds folder and view, table and field permissions, personal and locked views and password-restricted sharing. Enterprise adds dynamic record permissions and conditional display of tabs, sections and fields.

Every plan includes the Help Center, real-time chat, getting-started videos, on-demand webinars, onboarding guides, daily office hours, live monthly free training and certifications, live bi-weekly getting-started workshops, SmartSuite Academy and the user community.

Premium Support is an add-on for the Enterprise plan. It adds prioritized handling of your support requests and a named point of contact for escalations. Coverage hours and response targets are set out in your agreement. Contact sales to add it to your plan.

Yes. Enterprise plans include a named Customer Success Manager and access to SmartSuite Professional Services.

Signature is SmartSuite's per-solution plan for enterprises that license specific solutions, such as GRC, ITSM or Procurement, for large user populations. It pairs the Enterprise platform with advanced governance and support arrangements agreed for your deployment. Contact sales to learn more.

Signature is priced per solution rather than per user, so an organization can roll a solution out to a large population without per-seat cost. Terms, minimums and support levels are agreed in your contract. Contact sales for a quote.
